Submitting Artwork

I feel that with the group's rise in popularity (Though it is not very much yet), I would need to address this to help those submitting artwork. There are folders and it would help if art can be submitted to the folder that they match. The current folders are:

Featured - I'm going to try and use this simply for art I pick out. This folder will be treated as a showcase of works that go above-and-beyond. (If you want work here it will often be full scale drawings with multiple hunters and detail. It isn't always this way but it often is) So if you are submitting art, don't place it here. If I so choose I can always move somebody's work to this folder.

Hunter Art - If the center-point of the piece is the hunter(s) then place it here. There can be monsters in the drawing as long as they aren't the focus and it isn't a combat piece.

Monster Art - If a monster (Or monsters) are the main focal point for the piece this is where they will be filed. Again, as with the last folder, there can be hunters in these works as long as they are not engaged in combat and aren't the center of attention.

Combat Art - If there is any sort of combat in the piece it is placed here. This can include monster vs hunter, monster vs monster, or hunter vs hunter (though this last option is fairly rare to find).

Cosplay - If the submission is a cosplay piece place it here. This includes person photos as well as real weapon designs.

Screenshots - If the submission is a screenshot from one of the games, submit it here.

Literature - If the submission is in any form a written piece (i.e. Narrations, Stories, ect.), submit it to this folder.

Comics - If the piece is a comic, comic cover, or designs for a comic it will be placed here.

Game Design - This is a folder for any original design relating to Monster Hunter. This includes, but is not limited to: Original Monsters, Original Weapon Designs, Original Locations, ect.

Templates - This folder is here for use rather than for viewing. You will be unable to submit to this folder. I will fill it with different templates that you can then use to your hearts content.

Crossovers - A folder for any submission that contains more than just 'Monster Hunter' characters or themes. It MUST include at least some 'Monster Hunter' ideas in it to be submitted. If it does not, it wouldn't fit into this group.

Other - If your submission does not fit into any of the other categories, then it is placed here.

Please follow the above guidelines for art submissions as it helps make my job a little more simple. Also if enough artworks of a certain type are placed in "Other" then I will create a new folder for them to then be placed into. Yes I know this was a big post but I had a lot to make sure I mentioned! There isn't any need to submit anything to favorites. Submit to a folder in our gallery!
